2 min rest etc....
17.5" rack pulls:
5x 120kg
5x 160kg
5x 220kg
2x 230kg
1x 250kg
4x 220kg
bit more stiff legged than I'd like, but not bad.
Front squat:
5x 60kg
5x 90kg
3x 110kg
1x 130kg
Hate these, but will maybe start doing 10's with 100kg. The squat's easy, but almost pass out every time when the weight goes up.
Seated DB press:
10x 20kg
7x 30kg
3x 30kg
10x 20kg
Lat raises and rear delts to finish.

Decent.

Today>

Squat:
5x 60kg
5x 100kg
5x 140kg
3x 160kg
3x 180kg
3x 160kg
1x 160kg
10x 100kg (5 second pause at the bottom)
OK, a bit sore on the second last set. Flexibility is good, ass sits about 3" off the floor at the bottom now, which makes it a bit harder to get up again.....
Log (1 clean):
4x 80kg (1st strict)
4x 80kg (1st strict)
3x 80kg
Been a while, a bit awkward/out of practice, but OK.
Log cleans:
5x 100kg
2x 120kg
2x 130kg

Out of time. Good to be trying log again.

Today>

Deadlift:
10x 60kg
5x 100kg
5x 150kg
5x 190kg
3x 200kg
2x 210kg had to stop, sore
2x 190kg sore
Knew there was a reason I didn't do this often. Screw deadlifts from now on.
12" Box squats (sit down, sit back, pause, stand up):
5x 100kg
5x 140kg
5x 140kg
5x 140kg
not realy done these before, liked them, seemed to iron out the glute pain.
Dips:
10x BW
10x +20kg
7x +40kg
5x +50kg

Full deadlift is the only thing that significantly hurts now, so it's not being done anymore. Rack pulls/hypers/stiff legs/box squats/farmers/trap bar (maybe?) will be my alternatives.

Other than that, all going well.

Consistently good work Ben. Heavy log cleans there! Have you thought about trying deadlifts on a rota system. e.g wk1 do rack pulls wk2 sldl wk3 full deads wk4 romanian. Still get one normal session in for full r.o.m but not hammer the glute all every week. Just an idea, I might be talking crap.

Cheers, I'm just WEAK just now..... I have a plan now though, full deads won't be in it- used to love them, now I hate them. Going to work on pressing and squat- hopefully dead will take care of it's self. I'm enjoying training though, and that's the main thing Happy

I'm going to stop logging here until I can do something interesting again. At the moment it's pretty uninspiring reading...... (for the few people that still look in!)
