Cheers everyone, now if I could only get my pressing up to this levelGrin.

Log Trainer Clean And Strict Press:

4 Sets 1 Rep 50/70/92.5/102.5KG. concentrating on speed and holding it at the top for 10 Seconds.

Dumbell Clean And Strict Press:

5 Sets 10/20/30/40/47.5KG Dumbells, Last set strict presses the first rep, then slight legs on last 4 reps, it's getting a wee bit hard to clean them the heavier I goRoll-Eyes.

Standing Barbell Tricep Extensions:

3 Sets 5 reps 20/60/70KG.

Stones:

About 10-12 Sets just lifting the 80/90KG stone working on hand placement, so as I do not rip me bicep again, I was s**tting it to even try the 80KGConfused.

Walks with this big Keg they have in Dumbarton for about 10 Metres, it is filled with water and sand about 3 sets changing grip and placement of hands on barrel, Hard, no idea of weight, but heavy to meGrin.

Cheers Thing, just picking it up and walking with it was hard enougth, but to shoulder it, give me another 10 yearsGrin.

Deadlifts DO With Straps:

4 Sets 1 Rep 70/120/170/200KG.

2 Sets 225/250KG fail, now this is where I f**ked up the 225 was 245KG, which went up no bad, I thought to myself this feels heavy, but I should get another 25KG, so I thought it was 250KG but it was 270KG, I moved it a few Inch and that was it, I felt gutted until I realised it was 270KG, what a tit I felt, at least it moved a few InchesTongue.

Power Cleans:

About 10 Sets from 20 to 105KG, felt good went up easy, Johnny Mills is right, I just got to stick with these until I get better, the BuggerGrin.

You fool, but i have done that before when i thought i was doing 280 but it was 300.

good that your keeping with the cleans they will help with your deadlift and explosiveness in other aspects in training and in events

Thanks Thing, I felt demoralised when I thought I could not get 250KG, I thought I was at least good for 255-260KG, I felt more than a fool when I realised it was 270KG, I felt like a TITGrin.

Strict Standing Press:

8 Sets 1 Rep From 20 To 102.5KG, went up easy, then just a speed rep push press at 112.5KG, this flew up, this is the first time I have done push press for months, the Strict press is carrrying over to all types of presses for me, I hope it continuesHappy.

Speed Clean And Press:

8 Sets 3 Reps 72.5KG with 25-30 Seconds Rest between sets, was sweating like mad after this.

That's it just an easy session today.

Another easy session today at Dumbarton, I was just training myself my training partner never turned upRoll-Eyes.

Deadlifts From Bottom Of Knees DO With Straps:

7 Sets from 20 to 310KG, Hard from this position, probably about a 16 Inch Deadlift for my Height 5 Feet 5 Inch, man I am a GIANTGrin.

Fat Bar Clean And Strict Press:

6 Sets from 20 to 90KG, managed to clean this last set to shoulders, there was another 3 Guys using the same platform as me doing snatches, so I just chucked it here and I let them to it, should get the 100KG next week.

Standing Barbell Curls:

5 Sets from 20 to 90KG an easy rep at top weight, not done these in months.

Hangs With A Towel Wrapped Around The Bar:

2 Sets 50 And 40 Seconds Hold, first set Overhand grip second set reverse grip, only got 30 Seconds last weekHappy.

there is another good scottish strongman who is 5f5 - jr. He is in the finals, and much like you is a pressing monster, but grip events will be the weaker ones.

Training in Dumbarton again today crackin gym, but just trained myself, could not be arsed only done a few exercises.

Raw Paused Squats To A Parrallell Bench:

6 Sets 1 Rep From 20KG To 240KG easy rep at top weight, got speaking to a guy who just won the british Masters Weightlifting Title in the over 84KG division, great guy, can't bloody rememeber his name, I am getting old, and he was saying, that pausing for 2-3 Seconds is harder than just going down then back up, I felt chuffed, if he is ever in again I am going to pick his brain about proper Power clean technique, and push Jerks, because I only strict press all my weights, and I want to learn a better technique to add a lot of KG's to my overheads and cleansHappy.

Seated Barbell press Starting From Shoulders:

6 Sets from 20KG to 142.5KG, not done seated Barbell Press in over 5-6 Weeks but hit a PB, it flew up easy on the 142.5KG but I felt it come down about an inch from lockout, I just drove deep and managed to muscle it up, and held it at top position for 10 Seconds, the standing strict pressing is realling paying off for me, now if I could get my standing strict press up to this level I would be a wee bit happy, might take another 10 Years butGrin.

Standing Barbell Tricep Extensions behind head:

3 Sets 5 Reps 42.5/62.5/72.5KG, really want to be doing over 100KG in this in next 6 months at least.

Lying Dumbell Press Mimicking Log Bench For triceps:

3 Sets 8 Reps 20/45/60KG Dumbells, pausing every rep at bottom for a second, was shattered after this.

Training by myself I can not get any motivition to do strongman events, I am BLOODY LazyGrin.

Deadlifts Standing On a 4 inch Platform:

5 Sets 1 Rep 20KG To 190KG.

Deadlifts From Middle Of Knees:

4 Sets 1 Rep 210KG To 280KG, just took it easy today, my Bicep forearm injury seems to be getting as bit better, so I ditched the STRAPS on all deadlifts and just pulled over under hand today, thought my grip would be s**t, considering I have only deadlifted with straps for over a year now, but the weights went up easy, and my grip felt goodHappy.

Tbar Rows:

7 Sets 5 Reps 25KG To 150KG, not including Bar weight.

Power Cleans:

8 Sets 2 Reps 20KG To 105KG, I am still s**t at these but I will ponder on at them and hopefully they will go upRoll-Eyes.

Bodyweight 95.2KG, YEAH 0.2KG GainedTongue.

Cheers JC, but I still consider myself weakHappy.

Thanks Martin, there was no bigger TIT than me on that day:, I the injuries seem to be healing, until next sessionGrin.

Standing Barbell Strict Press:

8 Sets From 20KG To 105KG, then 1 Set 3 Reps 110KG push press, just wee bit of legs, I really felt shattered after the Strict Press, it is affecting my Push Press, so I think I will do Clean And Push Presses in next few months then go back to Strict Presses, because I am actually getting weaker at push press by about 10KG+ and getting stronger at Strict Press, weirdRoll-Eyes.

Clean And Press:

6 Sets From 20KG To 100KG, first time ever clean and pressing a Barbell, have only ever done it with a Fat Bar, felt easy, but I need a lot of work on these, just going to concentrate on these for next few months.

Bodyweight 95.2KG.
