I've always been in the moderation camp in terms of training frequency but understand that we're all different. I do recall though that I worked as a dustman back in the dim and distant past and that entailed lifting literally hundreds of bins a day, day in, day out. I certainly got a lot stronger at lifting bins than I probably would've done if I'd done it every other day. Food for thought.

I think, IF ASKED, I'd still tell a relative newcomer doing what Tom's doing to cut back, but Tom was an experienced athlete before he started lifting, he understands training principles and his own recovery process, and maybe, just maybe, going to the limit every day is the powerlifting equivalent of getting a rower into the exhaustion zone and working through it. Certainly seems to be working for Tom, and not just in deadlift, all three lifts are flying. So if it ain't broke...

To be honest Tom if you don't communicate your training style/routine to the GB coaches and let them know in advance what you hope/plan to do at the session you may not be in control of what you plan to do on the day. Communicate clearly - you have everyones e-mail, then you won't have a problem in future...honest advice that's all...
