More bench sessions in one day than I've done in 3 years.

Crackers.

granty said:Pabz, i don't understand your training. From what I understand you set your pb squat and bench like a year ago? why do your numbers fluctuate so much? surely what you were doing a year ago setting pbs back then is the corect way of training?

Well, bench PB is at 2x bodyweight. Deadlift is at +3x bodyweight, and squat is at 2.7x bodyweight... it's not like im on a plateau... the numbers i'm pulling are getting closer and closer to my weightclass limit, it's hard to gain more strength, it's not a matter of time, each kilo i gain takes more time of training to break.

Im not doing anything wrong, it's just that getting strength at 68kg bodyweight takes time.

i know a 69kg weightlifter who can backsquat 250

yeah but's thats an elite athlete! im just an average joe training at home. It's gonna be hard to gain more strength that's what im saying.

There's a level where you can get training because you like, and then you have a level beyond that's elite lifting.

Shaun: Who can squat 250 raw at 69? Just curious.... Because in the UK, the top powerlifter at that sort of weight (Rodney Hypolite) squats about 220 raw (no wraps). And doesn't Kev squat around 230 raw as a light 70ish guy? I'm assuming that guy isn't British?

Bench Press (No warmup)
-----------
120 x 5 x 2

18pm
Push Jerk
-----------
50 x 5
90 x 5
110 x 5 (PR @ 67)

This PR took me a LOT of training to get, now the hardest part will be to keep it for 3 weeks or something till it gets somewhat easy so i can jump to 120kg workouts.

I KNOW i will drop to 4 again mabe in the next workouts, that's ok, the goal now is to do 5 reps with this at least once a week.
