You can see my face it looks like the weight it's heavy but i'm trying to push as if it was. Squat ----- 50x5 90x1 100x2x10 130x1 (it felt like nothing) 170x-1 ( A negative, just the way down, intentionally )

Obvious Juicer Member 1613, 1036 posts SQ 185, BP 140, DL 220545.0 kgs @ 66kgs UnEq | Push Jerk --------- 50x3 70x3 90x3 100x3 105x1 Squat ----------- 50x5 90x1 (110x5)x7 I did this on the AM session, after the push jerk workout. Idk if that was a good idea, i felt kinda tierd because i almost have an accident on the push jerk which made my body release a lot of adrenaline to hold the barbel and after that i was on an alert state. In any case, the workout was good, nice speed. I have discovered by experience why you should tight your abs while squatting, this give you a lot of power out of the hole. The trick to keep you abs tight during the entire lift is to imagine that someone is gonna punch you in the abs and you dont know when it's gonna happen, so you stay ready to recieve the punsh at any time. In fact they're pretty bloody solid for anyone! I'm just finishing a Smolov cycle myself and was going to ask what's the purpose of this 31 day squat program? It seems to me that the numbers are pretty light for someone as strong as yourself? Are the 1RM attempts just to keep your body guessing or are they part of the program? I'm only asking because I'm very interested in seeing how it goes and maybe giving it a go myself!

I'm only asking because I'm very interested in seeing how it goes and maybe giving it a go myself! Thanks! THe program is made to increase your body´s workload capacity. The objective is to do lots of volume not weight. 110kg x 5 x 7 = 3850kg @ %65 WHile if i use higher intensity like 150kg x 1 x 5 = 750kg @ %93 And i could not do that again the next day because the intesity was too high and i would not recover. With this program the weight is light (~%70 average) but you will end up lifting a total of 94232Kg (in my case) Volume in 31 days, thing that would be almost impossible with higher weights. High volume improves technique and gives you some hypertrophy (muscle) that you can later, in another cycle, use to develop strength. The 1RM attempts are not part of the program, i folow the "Bulgarian" training methodology, i think that working to a "Max of the day" will improve my readiness towards attempting heavier weights without mentally thinking that i'm lifting heavy weights.

Gillette - The best a man can get Member 466, 1389 posts SQ 196, BP 120, DL 254570.0 kgs @ 74kgs UnEq | you do have a great journal. i did your bench routine today and found it great. was satisfy working from different heights and was good to put some heavy weight on for lock outs. ive been doing normal benching for way to long and this just seems a breath of fresh air and most importantly fun. hopefully making little pbs on each of the heights will help motivation also

I normaly start with Bench press to my 3RM max (i stop when i reach < 3 reps) then half bench, singles to max. THen high lockouts, singles to max. And then finish up with bench from the bottom with a decent weight for your strength level for reps to failure. YOu can do that 3 times a week no problem.

Obvious Juicer Member 1613, 1036 posts SQ 185, BP 140, DL 220545.0 kgs @ 66kgs UnEq | Today after my AM session i felt like crap, very tierd. I thought that mabe i should rest or something, but then i remembered this: John Broz @ SOME POST ON THE WEB Training lifts will eventually start to go backwards as you enter into the "dark times". When you are so sore and fatigued that you cant even imagine lifting weights. This time is CRUCIAL to training. You MUST persevere and continue to train! Eventually your lifts will begin to improve and you will make progress and PR's while in a totally fatigued state. When you can make progress when feeling like this, this is when you are going somewhere. So i took my shirt off and loaded the bar Squat ---------- 50x1 90x1 130x1 150x1 (decent speed) 165x1 PROGRESS CHART
