After 11 years training at the same place, I cancelled my membership last week. The last straw was watching a bloke doing "sit ups" when in actual fact the only thing moving was his head.

skinny old asian dude benching little more than the bar but his right side was way below his left, so he put a clip only on the right side to keep the wieght from falling off. someone tried to help his with his form but he got all butthurt and left.

It was unsatisfying at best. They must get more pleasure from doing it the other way round...

Some bloke stripping naked in front of me, and saying 'what do you think'?

1 - he was a week away from going on stage of a BB comp

2 - Ive never been a BB, and know zero about BB !

3 - I wanted to say it was COLD in here

I was polite though and walked away !Roll-Eyes Grin

some wee guy setting up for a sumo deadlift then quarter curling the bar from the ground and then swinging it like a barbell pendulum until he locked out. He never did and a good job too otherwise i suspect very torn biceps!

an oldish bloke standing on a bench to do bent over rows and then about half hour later a young skinny lad doing the same thing. Confused
the only benefit i could see from doing this would be if the weight was lower than feet height at the bottom...but it wasn't.

when i was living in a navy camp for a while with my job, i was down at the gym and a big headed PT comes strutting in with a couple of young ladies does a single rep bench of 60kg then a grinder on 70kg to impress the girls and it worked!
so, just to be a t**t i walked over when they were still talking by the bench i asked if he had finished then did a set of 12 on it :P he didnt look happy and left Grin

Years ago me and my mate used to train at a little local gym where you all got a key. It was like a club really and ran on a non profit basis. There were only a handfull of lads who trained there and you often were the only ones in there.

Anyway one day we walked in and there was another lad in there using the leg press machine. He greated us with a casual "hello" and waited another 10 to 20 seconds for us to put our bags down etc before politely asking if we could assist him in pressing the weight back up to the top as he was stuck at the bottom position. We quickly went to his help and got the weight off him. He couldn't get up for a while and when we asked him how long he had been stuck there he said "oh I dont know, maybe about 30 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!! he could litterally have been there for hours before anyone came inEek
