I did my one and only indoor 200m (BUSA indoor champs) at the Kelvin Hall! Bloody steep turns. I missed a step coming of the 1st bend and nearly went flying. It ammused the crowd and at least it gave me an excuse to come last instead of the real reason why I would have come last anyway Wink

Nope I have changed from Fitness First To the Kelvin Hall Glasgow, Fitness First was not the Ideal place to train at if you want to Increase strength, also I was not aloud to use chalk, or even bring my Bag into that Fitness First GYM, I hated it.

The Gym I train at now Kelvin Hall, is also very poor, all the bars are bent, dumbells are broken, only one old bench which I do not like Benching in, and a broken smith Machine, and they only have a pair of old Universal Squat stands with wheels attached to each stand that have fell off, so I s**t it every time I squat especially because there is no one there a lot of the times, and I only squat to a bench about 1-2 Inch above parrellal the now.

I am really going to take it a lot more serious this year, and try and find a local gyn, for Powerlifters/Strongman, and going to go to Unit 20 in a few Months "I Pm'd Jonathan and asked for Directions and if I could come along, and he said yes, they really have a great bunch of guys going there, so I will try my hand at that this year also", but I would rather find A strongman Gym in Glasgow, becasue it is a good Distance of 100+ Miles to get to Unit 20 and Back, but I will go, I am looking forward too it.

don't know if you can but if you can get to dumbarton where andy cairney trains there well equipped out there. big ken who is here trains with him sometimes so give him a shout.

Ian did you win, yoiu must have been bloody good to compete, you would have never lived it down if you did fly off, it would have been a crackin videoGrin.

Not feeling well last few days, monstrous Migragine feeling sick, I have Man Flu B*STARD, felt shattered today, just took 2 lemsimps before training.

Raw Bench:

3 Sets 25/20/15 Reps 20.

5 Sets 1/1/1/1/2 Reps 60/100/130/160/190KG, 1 rep touch n go and 1 Rep paused, I have it on my mates phone, who was training today, will try and upload it shortly.

Squat To A Bench:

5 Sets 1/1/1/1/3 Reps 70/120/170/210/242.5KG.

Lying Tricep extensions To The Nose:

3 sets 1 Rep 60/90/110KG, technique broke down at the 110 and I nearly crushed my face in, will try and get a Video of it next week.

Thats it could not do anything else.

91KG Bodyweight Today.

As promised Raw 190KG Bench @91KG Bodyweight 1 Touch n Go and 1 Paused Rep, had the flu yesterday when I done this, or I would have got 2 Touch n Go and 1 Paused Rep I thinkGrin.



Right Today's sesion, took it easy still have FLUUnhappy.

Front Squat:

5 Sets 5/1/1/1/1 Reps 20/60/100/120/140KG, first time I have done front Squats, felt really easy.

Push Press:

4 Sets 1/1/1/3 Reps 60/80/100/110KG.

Deadlifts From Bottom Of Knees:

7 Sets 1 Rep 70/120/160/200/220/240/260KG.

Power Cleans:

4 Sets 1 Rep 60/80/100/105KG.

Bodyweight 91KG

HI Thing

I never take any Vitamins & Minerals or any other products, and I am allergic to Oranges, and Citric Acid Vit C, maybe that is why I keep getting the Bloody Clod or Flu.

I also only eat 1 Meal a day and live on Coffee and Fags, my Diet is tragic, I really need to eat correctly.

dam rigth you do have you tried kewi fruit i don't think its citric acid vit c. dam strong for a really really crap diet

One meal a day?? Thats insane. Just think what you could acheive if you started eating correctly as you have achieved some big ass numbers already.

No I was s**t! It was a uni comp so didn't need to get to any standard to enter. I was a county standard 200m runner as a kid without any training (26.46s @13yrs) but I fell in with footballers and played sunday league, thus I never got down to an athletics team to seriously train.

Keep up with the training vids but get the guy to step back a bit an dhold the camera steady Tongue !

Thanks Ian, that is a great time with no training at an early age, I was in the same boat as you with other Sports at a young age but I just fell away, then I found the weightsHappy.

Thanks Nico, I have been training for 20 Years on and off since I have been 15, I trained 4 years solid till 15 too 19 then chucked it a few years, then trained again then chucked it, in fact this is the longest peroid I have trained for now since 19, have been training a year solid, but a bad chest Injury and Back Injury about 6 months ago knocked my training back about 6 months, I basically had to start from scratch again, I wish I really stuck to it at early age, but I will see how far me old bones will take me now, and I am hopeing I do not get any Injury's But I am allready getting wee niggles againConfused.

I have been eating like a MotherF*cker all weekend, i.e. pizza, chips, currys. have put on a Kilo, but it is just all on my gut, I just don't have much of an appetite, especially since I smoke and drink coffee all day, it is very hard too eat much at all, I gotta chuck smoking again, if I want too push my self this year, because it severly affects my fitness and strengthRoll-Eyes.
