Hahaha that was a 5-6 minute workout.
Today I did silly running around stuff, and it was 40 degrees where we were training.

Session at Clint's, without Clint.

Started off poorly, will drop the weight on the deadlifts and keep my technique solid, it has improved LOADS but sometimes I don't get things right I use a lot of back, thought I was past that point tbh but what you going to do. Legs felt tired.

145x3 hook grip felt particularly sore today, so slagged it off for over/under

170x4 4 was a slow, slow rep, wanted 5, f**k. Soon, f**king s**t weight.
150x1 to settle things, it was fine.

Stones, no tacky

Tacky is like water here so I was pleased with that, got in the right position to get it to the lip and push it over! Now to do it with that 100k stone at OSG!

Axle rows, Farmers shrugs, GHR, log curls x 3 sets each

Decent session.
Will get that deadlift NAILED next week, want that 170x5, I find it far harder than the 205k single I did last month. ONWARDS!

f**k that s**t mate, the first 3 reps are always solid and the 4th is exponentially harder, I take a break after the 3 reps to reset and stuff thats probably f**king me up.

Focusing on staying upright and doing them properly. No belt.

Probably incorrect number of sets (I did a TON, probably more than these)

Lots to improve on, a good starting point. Even had a contrast shower and iced clavicles, wrists and knees. Feel good right now. Onwards!

My mate (79kg in clothes) snatched 122 and clean and jerked 160 BEAUTIFULLY today. Beast! Learnt a lot today, lets keep it going till Oly dragons 2!

Another session with the olympic weightlifting boys.

Bench press
20x8
40x8
50x8
60x8
70x6
65x6
60x6 triceps fried

Between the sets I did 6, 6, 5, 7, 4, 2 chins to make it an even 30.

BTN push press
I don't remember the number of sets exactly but I did over 30 reps in total between 60, 65, 70, 65, 60kg in sets of 3. Technique improving, felt nice.

Back squat
Same as above, will write s**t down in future, but did over 25 reps in sets of 3 over 90, 110, 115, 120, 115, 110, 60kg.

Lots of volume, lots of soreness, strength to be gained.
Now both my collarbone and back of neck are sore as f**k, who knows what I'll do tomorrow!

I will start entering comps next year i think after a solid year of training behind me (i dont want to go in and make an ass of myself to be honest) plus i wanna come down see a comp iv never been to one before looks a real buzz meet afew of the ppl there and just chill. Grin

Sounds like a plan,I started doing comps with worse static lifts than you though.
Its great fun. I will make it a GREAT comp for me in September!
