Honestly James, those squats are awsome, same with the deadlifts, your strenght is insane, the pick up on the 110 farmers is quite hilarious. Like it's nothing LOL

first time i've used straps, found them a pain in the arse. is there any specific way of putting these on?

Not sure what you're doing with the straps as i can't watch youtube in work, but i assume you are deadlifting.

Go double overhand (if you're not already) and just flick them under the bar and roll them on tight!

sorry shane, not explained that very well... its the knee wraps for squatting. they took me about 5 minutes to get them reasonable, even then i wasn't to happy with them but couldn't spend my whole night unwrapping then re wrapping

i wasn't gonna bother eather until boar suggested it yesterday, glad i did coz i think they'll take some getting used to. maybe try them in your next session, if you don't like them don't use them, atleast that way they won't feel weird if you decide to on the day.

Theres a few ways to wrap them (apparently!!) If they hurt, cut off the circulation to your lower leg and feet, dont allow you to bend your knees and you want to take them off straight away..... then they are probably on right!!

Strong training mate!

So the 210's for 4s were in wraps? Is that how much of a difference it made from 200kg for 4 the week before?

Or was there not much and your just an animal!!

Wasn't going to try as i thought they wouldn't do much but that sounds like a sick increase

shane - i think it made a difference but as toby suggested, they have to be tight... mine weren't. i probably had 210 for 3 so it gave me a bit more but should get more out of them when i do them tightly. next time i use them will be at o.s.g. on the 5th you should come shane!

toby - cheers mate! that should be a big help i'll have to spend an hour practicing them, bit sad but if it makes the difference .....

first training on shoulder for a while due to injury (not sure exactly what).went quite well. was sore to start but as it warmed up felt better

warm up

incline bench 30kg for a few reps

I.F.S.A. log (floor to overhead each rep)

70 x 4
100 x 1
100 x 1
110 x 1
115 x 1
120 x 1
120 x 1
115 x 3
115 x 3

felt like there was more there but didn't want to push my luck as it was the first session for a while, and i'd got what i wanted out of the session

you absolute friggin animal !!

wraps are just a case of getting them tight as you want and make sure you tuck the end in tight so it doesnt pop out

what is your log PB ?
