Felt OK. I'm just enjoying playing around with different exercises. I do have a slightly dodgy left knee though, so maybe this exercise could help me out there? I've been training my calves, which I never did specifically during my strongman days. I'm coming away from big/heavy strength moves that put strain on the body. I'd like to work towards a full rep on Nordics I think, but that is a way off yet!

I too am aiming for a full rep on the Nordics but i think its aa long way off for me tooGrin they are ridiculously hard

nice training mate. we spar once or twice a month and all of us have a respect for boxers fitness to go 3 rounds.

sparred 3 full rounds with the gigantosaurus Friday , i was physically exhausted by the end legs like jelly and took 10 minutes to get my breathing back to normal , got battered as well , f**king loved it!

we got a bit carried away in round 2 and one of the trainers had to come and tell us to calm down ! 2 50 year old's getting a bollocking like we were back at school!Grin

3x3 minute rounds on the heavy bag
3x3 minute rounds full sparring
20 minute circuit on the bags.
5minute circuit of stomach exercises.

monday : 1 hours boxing lesson . tibialis rises 1x25 backwards walking on the treadmill x 5mins

it might be wise to get a little videogram of your sparring , just so i can marvel in your newly aquired athleticism

have you felt any benefit in the knee area from your rehab shizzle ?

sadly you're not allowed to take any photo's or videos at the boxing gym , i'm not sure why , in my head i look like Calzaghe but in reality i probably just look like a fat old bloke throwing slow s**t punches.

yes knees are feeling a little better but its a long rd

friday got a cold so just went through the motions today did a lot of talking and not a lot of training.

power cleans 50kx3 60kx3 70kx3
deadlift up to 180kx1
3 mins on the heavy bag (not trying very hard)
tibialis raises 2x25
5 mins backwards on the treadmill
bench press barx10 40kx5 60kx5
dumbell curls 10kx30
