messed about with power cleans with 75kg, but gave up as doing them on gravel wasnt one of my better ideas

started warmups for squats and felt the niggle in my lower back/bum so thought id start the work sets and see how it went.

squats 175x8 niggle was quite bad but legs were nice and pumped and jellifed might see how I get on with one all out work set for a while if i`m trap bar deadlifting alternate sessions there will be a nice overlap
chins 18 8 8
press 67x8 72x6 77x4
leg curls 32x3x6 dog took great delight in giving me sloppy kisses half way through my sets of these

wonder if some kind of massage will help my lower back but will feel some kind of perv + be in trouble from my wife if i ask a woman for a bum massage and would feel wrong having one from a man Unhappy

just got back from a week in menorca, there were a few days when shoulder impingment was really bad had to try and find some pain killers ended up having to pay 10 euros for a box of paracetamol and a box of ibrprofen. Kids had to help dress me a couple of days Sad. Did lots of walking and mainly lived on a paellea ever night and a couple of litres of sangria. So first session back was a bit of an unknown. Shoulder feels better now but I think its straight bar pressing so going to do my pressing with the log for a bit, shoulder felt fine though.

trap bar deads bar plus 170x8 180x8 190x8 felt really easy, need to find a form of progression as this practically filld the bar with plates might have to increase the reps rather than weight,

log bench press 102x3x10 felt more chest than normal bench Smiley

Major doms today,.

Trap bar deads bar + 190x10 200x2x10
log bench starting each rep from dead stop on pins 107x10 107x9 107x8 these seem to really pump my chest up for some reason.

Not updated in ages kind of been going through the motions, entered a local gyms powerlifting comp and came 4th missing 3rd by 0.1 wilkes point wish i had a wee before weighing in.

Still following my bas***dized juggernaught system routine with 1 mins rest between sets of the main excercises the 10`s and 8`s weeks are brutal onto the 5`s which arnt so bad.

Got half a plan to go away spring bank if we dont might do the northern under 90 qualifier, I`m also down to do yorkshires under 105s in September at Rotherham Show, can guarantee the events I no rep will be the ones all the kids at work walk past and I`ll have constant saw u sir you were crap for weeks so want to put a good showing in.

Anyways Training

Thursday:
deadlifts 1 mins rest 6x5 with 190kg
Push press 1 mins rest 6x5 with 75kg
f**ked off the assistance as I was dead

Today:
squats 1 mins rest 172kg 4x5
chins 1 mins rest 15,8,5
leg curls 52.5kg x8
Press off pins 62kg 3x5

Juggernaughts pushing my deadlift and squats up but not having the same effect on my pressing so trying to get presses in every session also want to get over my balance aids and go over 100kg on the log again.

bench one mins rest: 112x2x5 112x4 112x3 should have been 4x5 but never hit targets on my bench
wide grip chins 1 mins rest: 10,6,5
log press log+30kgx2x6 going for one more rep each time on these

Tonight's continuation of yesterday's session:

Bench paused on pins 122x3x2 100x7
Press paused on pins 70x3x5
Log one motion log +40 kg for 3 singles

Had been to my mums for tea and she's a bit of a feeder hence the low reps didn't want to see it again. The higher frequency pressing seems to be working.

Think its an hours insanity class tomorrow

Squat am rap day.

Yesterday started it warmed up loaded the bar to 190 and binned it off after 3 reps the neighbours were burning so plastic and I was coughing up a lung

Tried again today

Squats 190x6 target was 5 so gained a slight increase
Bw chins 1 mins rest 15 8 6
Leg curls 55x8
Bench off pins 125x3x2
Log one motion log +40 kg 3 singles

Videoed the squats as I can't work out why the bars extremely slopes will hopefully post later for ideas

Not happy with the grace time think my best was sub three minutes. Went all out then a rep at a time think I need a better stratergy
