wasnt expecting much today as I drunk far too much saturday night and ate far too little yesterday,

sqauts 172.5x5x5
Bench 132.5x3x5 2x3
Rows 115x5x5
Heavy stone to 36" platform twice then 80kg stone to 56" platform just missed would probably have got 55"

was quite pleased with this considering my weekend for some reason it my bench that always suffers with an off day but not to bothered as I ususually have a really good session following a bad one.

Nice deads mate. You giving SM a good go this year in the u105's

Should have a good shot at qualification. Which qualifier would you do?

Cool mate. Think it would be the North qualifier. Could be a real tough one with Millsy, Ben F, Ste B & Tony from this site alone!!

Jamie, I reckon Yorkshire counts as the North but appreciate that the Midlands might actually be a bit closer to to home for you. Would be good to see you at the Northern though mate.

todays session:

sqauts 200x5 singles
bench 122.5x2x8
log cleans 103x5 singles attempted a press on each one, actually managed one on the 4th single
stone heavy stone to next hole up in rack from monday twice then 80kg stone high as possible really struggled with grip on heavy stone
then my yoke mark 2 3 15m runs with 160kg in plates, first run was all over and more of a stagger but got the hang and was running by third run.

new yoke conisted of an old set of adjustable squat stands with the top hole drilled to 1 inch and a standard bar passed through and olympic plates clamped to the bottom with 4 spinlock dumbell handles through the handholds in the plates.
