You've got to stick with it man. It's like Corrie. Miss a few weeks and there's whole new characters and story lines in there.

I never watch Corrie btw.

If you don't think Cutler falls into the excellent shape category then you've really not been looking at pictures of his wheels. His legs are world beaters and just about as ripped as have been seen on stage barring Andreas Munzer.
I read something on FB the other day which made a lot of sense. The person who is Mr Olympia is the one with the most marketing potential. I don't think there's a lot wrong with that statement.
I also think their training has pretty much zero influence on how these guys look. Just because some of them do these pumping sets does not mean it is a "better" way of getting big than doing low reps, nor vice versa. It is did then how did Dorian even win the Mr O, or Mike Mentzer ever get to where he did, or any of the other HIT types competitors?

I think thats false as dorian didnt do any marketing stuff and won 6 titles. The high intensity approach can work, no doubt, but it also comes with a high risk of injury. Happened to dorian (which he has said looking back he would have went a bit easier, especially before the comps), same with ronnie and even guys like warren and kahn or kevin levrone who trained heavy as f**k and torn his chest benching 600lb. You can end up never looking the same or can end up in pain later in life. Where as if you look at cutler or heath there training has never caused a serious injury (jays bicep was at a photoshoot) and i think thats why 95% of bodybuilders look for the pump. It will get them bigger and if you get injured you can't train.

Paul,

As I am sure you know Yates won six.

As for the training style, not sure what all the fuss is about.

Honestly clegg would probably benefit a lot from this, he would get injured far less and be jacked to f**k, could prob bench and squat the planet after 3 years bodybuilding training.

It's a lot harder work than doing 6 sets of 1 though so am thinking he prob hate it.

Which part you think isnt serious? Think about it, he's strong as f**k at like what, 100k? What if he was 130-140 of muscle? Maybe would hurt his weightlifting though don't know. An if you think bodybuilding isnt harder than the heavy 1-5 rep stuff, have done both and it sure as f**k is, muscles on fire, feel like puking half the time and you get doms from hell.

The bit where you dispense advice to someone who has achieved numbers in strength that a lot would mark as their lifetime goals. Yes your grip work is very good and unsurpassable by most but someone who describes lifitng carpets as constructive training isn't best equipped to advise people like mark.

I wasnt in any way giving advice to mark, just giving my opinion. He's strong as f**k as said.
