- 130.5kg x 10 strict

Barbell shrug (sqeezing at top)
- 130.5kg x 12

Back extension machine

Since plates fall off the smith and it's too difficult to get heavy weights out the rack am just doing shrugs strict now.

Pretty sure i will manage to row 200k for at least some reps, the 170 felt heavy but got it from a to b 12 times and felt it beat up the rhomboids good. Unfortunately it didnt record so dont know how it looked. Hopefully benching goes better monday. Grippers on sunday since works shut and more training tonight.

Have been thinking about what's next and have decided since i ideally want to be off for the rest of the year, instead of going for the 250kg x 10 stiff leg dead now am going to do it later in the year. After this phase will come a fat loss/muscle building phase, which am going to do 20+ weeks rather than 10 week death cut like the last few times. I will be looking to gain muscle, will be lifting heavy and don't want to rush anything and risk injury. I will be doing deadlifts and squats of some kind every week during this phase but they wont always be heavy. This also goes better with my mrs weight loss / back rehab as it's not easy eating quorn and brocoli when i'm stuffing my face 24/7.

Both me and sarah

6 supersets pulldowns / leg curls
4 supersets machine row / leg extensions
3 supersets ab machine / back extension (i didn't do back extension)
1 high rep set seated row with v-grip
1 high rep set dumbbell curls
1 set ez bar curls against wall
2 sets rear delt fly

Wasn't really focusing on weight just feel and wanted to be quick so wasn't filming, only the back extensions since bumped it up to 100lb (she could still do like a billion)

No idea what your goals were before or have changed to now, Paul.

At the start of the journal. They have not changed just going to take my time with the 300kg x 10 dead goal.

10 reps???? isn't your max pb 280?

A VERY accurate judge of 1RM is by multiplying the weight by the reps, then divide by 30...

So 300x10/30 = 100!

so if your old max is 280kg, then your 1RM would be 380kg give or take 5kg.

Do you implement S.M.A.R.T when selecting goals?
Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely....

Enjoyed the row video mind, cheers

What does that 100 actually mean? 100kg more than the reps? So if so a max of 400?

LOL Grin

Don't forget though, he is going to do them touch and go so will only probably need a 360 max. Plus he'll be heavier and stronger by then so it shouldn't be too hard.
