id definitely DL like you was guna clean it, or else id say its fckin pointless lol

and no ^^^ because instead of learning how to correctly PC and PSN they would probably better spend their time lifting more on their respective lifts.

Weightlifters can already practically deadlift without learning fresh, but (most) PLers would have to learn the psn and pc.

Just seen all the commets. Gald you putting deads back in, just from a overall compound and hormone increasing perspective. If not heavy deads then speed deads migh have crossover to oly lifting?

Alan Fairclough was a big believer in deadlifts for the olympic guys at Adlington. He had Andy and Jeff deadlifting 270s/250s when they were clean and jerking some pretty big numbers, and Andy only really stopped progressing on them because of grip issues. Sure Jeff can elaborate if he sees this.

Olympic Dungeon with Jonny...

Plan starts next week...

Jerks
50kg x 3
50kg x 3
50kg x 3
70kg x 3
90kg x 2
100kg x 2
110kg x 1
120kg x 1
125kg x didn't attempt it. When I dipped my shoulder friggin' hurt!!
110kg x 3

Jerks always feel rubbish when I don't snatch beforehand. Obviously the snatch gives me a good stretch.

Front squat
60kg x 3
100kg x 2
120kg x 2
130kg x 1
140kg x 1
150kg x 1
160kg x f

These 'between' sessions never seem to go too well. New build up next week, new focus, time to nail the new plan!

LOL. I would have been in a major depression if I'd have done that Josh Wink

New plan will strengthen up my weak back and get me some strong PBs.

Funny you say this cause my benches always feel easier if I've squatted or pulled beforehand.

I think for me it's more the psychological aspect of handling the heavier loads first.

I was working down in Oswestry and discovered CrossFit Oswestry. It was a great gym, only £5 per session which is quite cheap for a CrossFit gym!

Start of the new plan!

Snatch
40kg x 2
40kg x 2
50kg x 2
60kg x 2
60kg x 2
70kg x 2
80kg x 1x2
90kg x 1x2

Clean & Jerk
60kg x 2
80kg x 2
100kg x 2
110kg x 1x2
115kg x 1x2
120kg x 1x2

Clean pulls with 3 shrugs at the end
130kg x 3
135kg x 3
140kg x 3

Paused front squats
60kg x 2
100kg x 2
110kg x 2
120kg x 2x2

Pendlay rows
60kg x 8
60kg x 8
60kg x 8

Ring dips
BW X 8
BW X 8
BW X 8

Decent session!

Will get some vids on in a bit.
