A few thoughts:

Squats seem light? You did 157.5kg x 5 last week, but have a 6 week build up here that finishes with 155 x 5?

Jerks go up 2.5kg a weeek, then up 7.5kg the last week? Maybe start a bit higher as 120 should be a warm up weight for you.

Clean, 2 front squats + jerk - you've already don't 125, so maybe a bit more weight needed on those?

Are the cleans doubles or singles?

Yeah good point Jonny. Will up the weights.

Cleans are doubles up until week 4 were it changes to 2 singles.

137.5kg x 3 - Didnt realise how fast I descend until I watched video! Need to slow it down and keep a tight position.

Last rep on squats was a grinder but I'm putting that down to dropping to fast!

Deadlifts looked faster than they felt.

Nothing wrong with the speed of your descent on the fronties Andy, makes it a more dynamic movement which is what you want. I would keep them the same and maybe add in a couple of dead stop sets as a drop down at the end to work on keeping your position on the way back up.

Really strong session Andy!

I was actually up at 5.00 watching the Ashes and giving Chester a bottle. The thought of training never once occurred to me...

Sod getting up at that time for a deload! (I did forget though...)

Jeff - Yeah your right actually, it's probably more likely to help my clean descending fast. Will add some paused fronties after the top sets from now on, good idea! Happy

Jonny - Yeah I thought you might be up and I also knew you were de loading so kind of knew you wouldn't be arsed. The max Bicep curler was buzzing this morning. He had a new vest on and everything Cool

Christmas vest, protein shake, mirror with favoured lighting, a big set of dumbells and pumped to the max - bet he was loving it! Athlete!

Great pb on weighted dips.

An underated exercise for upper body power.

Good training Andy, I can see that you are as dedicated as me, thats great to see.

One Q, you plan calls for a 3 days training, do you plan to do assistance work inbetween days or stick to 3 days a week? I ask because Im not sure if I need to increase my training days as I now do so much work in the 3 that I do if that makes sense?

Jonny - dead right. He was pumped to the max and grunting, curling those DBs and then threw them on the floor like the beast he is!

Danny - What's assistance? Wink I plan on still doing 3 days with no assistance. Will throw some pressing in when I can. I want the world record on weighted dips which is apparently 3.14xBW LOL
