I do not.
Why not allow wheels on the yoke, a jack on deadlift hold and a baby harness for shield carry?
Things should be done properly.

Obviously those things are different but I see your point

Easy way to stop frame deads been rested and or hitched is do them all on side handles. That way it's not don to the refs interpretation.

Heat 2 was ace. Ed Hall was awesome to watch. More event training Will lead to better consistency and he should be in with a real chance i think.

side handles is essentially a glorified leg press though, it's not really the same i find (from my little experience).

Great watch! Thor looked scarily good. Scary in the fact that he doesn't look like he is near his full potential yet but still managed to beat Jenkins without too much trouble.

Jenkins didn't quite look like the machine he did last year. Bad events for him? Or shocked at how strong thor was?

Ed looked to have great potential. I hope he does as he said at the end an hammers some event training. And as a weakness, that's relatively easily solved. Looks to have a great future.

Side handles are s**t. Shocking test of strength. I did a comp in Russia and a 5ft 4 300kg deadlifter beat all of us. It's more bout height than strength.

I have only done side handles once in a comp and never trained it but didn't find it like a leg press

Be interesting to see what others have to say on it

i cant get over how mr hall claims he doesnt train events yet does as well as 4th in wsm heats. he mentioned he trains bbing so im guessing hi reps. that'll be why he excelled with high numbers on squat and viking?
also bad luck he had with last stone

speaking of which, i don't like the initial 180cm stone loading, even if it's 'only' a 130kg stone as that seems more of a height thing too (on the opposite end of the spectrum).

i'd quite like to see heavier stones to equal platforms, although it does lose some spectacle for the non-competitors.
