Think that's new this year. About time too...

If you can't rest a log / block on your head for a rest halfway when pressing, why should you be able to rest a deadlift on your thighs?

I thought the rule about not resting logs on heads was more for the athletes neck safety than anything else.

Resting a deadlift on the thighs doesn't present the same level of danger/injury to the athlete IMO

Shame your opinion carries no weight with TWI and WSM then isnt it.

I don't know Jamie resting a heavy bar on your thighs... They can get bruised

If the resting a log on your head was stopped with athletes neck safety in mind, anyone care to explain why yoke, keg toss, squat and atlas stones on your head are ok?

Log on head is easier and viewed as cheating so not allowed. Stones is ok because of the height thing I assume.

I hope resting frame deadlifts on your thighs gets banned all the way down to novice.

I'll ask Mr Bryce about the reasoning behind it next time I see him in the gym Happy

Hitching should be banned too, I lose hair on my thighs every time

I do not.

Why not allow wheels on the yoke, a jack on deadlift hold and a baby harness for shield carry?

Things should be done properly.
