Should be doable for you, fitness might be down a touch but that will come back quickly enough and the rest will follow. Nice 30 min first session back Happy

Two-hour road bike ride. Harder on the legs than MTB riding, but I enjoyed it. (It is only the second time I have tried it.) My lower back was creasing for the rest of the day though.

HR 2 BPM down on last week, SR down 1 and pace slightly improved too. Happy with that!

I'd like to get these under 143 (my top end of UT2). I will then increase the time/distance for a couple of weeks before starting on a proper 12-week programme. I don't feel ready to jump straight into a programme yet because there would be no UT2 work, so I want to make sure I do some before I begin.

Sorry I haven't been around much and in everyone's journals. I will endeavour to get on here more.

After a couple of mega-stressful days, I'm really pleased to say I've landed the Deputy Head job at my current school. It's a lovely local school (one of the best in Bolton) where my three kids go and a ten-minute walk from my house. Ideal!


Bit ‘stalker’ but wanted to check back in with your log.

Congrats on the Deputy Head position. My wife is Head of Languages in a School so I can appreciate the work that goes into that.

Ha ha! The job is probably the highlight of my journal to be fair. Cheers though.

I'm in a pretty poor place at the moment - not really strong and not really fit, but I'm working on both!
