Could be, but I wouldn't really know. It's only the third time I've ridden a road bike, so I'm still a beginner. Everything feels right when I'm on it. Knees have improved a bit throughout the day so that I can now move my legs without pain.

In hindsight, it was too long, but what can you do when you're in Warrington and need to get home? Grin

Considering I didn't have any bib shorts (the ones with padding in), I tolerated the saddle pretty well.

HR monitor lost connection halfway through, which threw me off for a bit, but then I refocused for the last 12 mins and got my average pace down from 2:06.6 to 2:04.4.

This gave me a bit of confidence (but not much!) for Friday.
