Cheers Dave

Thanks Marc, definetly more there with more focused training than i have done of late. i'll stick my head out and try to add 20KG to each lift.

Smalls yes it feels good to be back lifting in a competition sense. i can now focus on this and plan more effectiflly for my goals this year.

Back to it tonight, think after the weekend and finding out how heavy I am (threw my scales out that are rated to 200kgs they have been lying to me) reps are going to be here and cardio from now on I weighed in at 170.2kgs which is was flabbergasted at. I have been feeling fine with fitness and moving around, diet haven't been the best but to stick 10.2 kg's on in 4 months is so e gains. As all mi clothes fit me as they did before December. f**k knows but it is what it is and need addressing. So 5's and 8's will feature for a good while along with event cardio every 2nd week and steady state cardio twice per week at work as they have concept II rowers, Spin bike and a cross trainer so will do something with them.
165 is the first target they take it from there, regular weekly weighing will be happening. And I know the scales in the medical centre at work are calibrated weekly.
As for the session squats felt good and reps will help will aim for 3x5 at 160 then add 5kgs and so on. Do this for 6 weeks and the up the reps to 8 at 160 for 3 sets adding 5kg when I hit the 3 sets of 8 again do this for 6 weeks and then so on. but thus could change abit once baby is here 6weeks to go. Mind you I gave the 5/3/1 routine in the back of my mind itching to be run again.
GM felt good to and a steady use of them will benifit me I think.
Core work continues slowly but surely but if Lalas does it then so should we all Wink

Some cardio da morn might do a weight vested walk first thing

Wouldn't your back be a bit better if you shifted 50kg?

Now smalls everyone know this and my back has been really good this last wee while. But making a small target in weight to drop is more achievable I think getting down to. 140 is a goal just now but small steps.

If I could add the weight I take off directly to my Deadlift and squat I'd be happier Grin
