Bad news but I'd imagine also good working for yourself.

After starting with the high rep GM's the back was toast so plenty stretching and repeated the GMs today but concentrated more on the Hamstring stretches. Da morn all add in pull throughs with pauses for the stretch.

Felt good to go to the big gym and speak to some of the lads,
Also good to do pull ups and the pull through stretch certainly a keeper that stretch
Added a runner hamstring stretch and that's the best one yet for me. But I'm going to try the voodoo trick on the hamstrings

Good walk this evening

I think you're right to do this Neil, I had a few years away from the heavy stuff forced upon me after my hamstring tear in 2007. It's not something you can half-ass and sneak your heavy work in on the side to get the same results. A concentrated period of lighter, higher volume/rep/frequency work with an emphasis on body recomposition and just basically getting healthy and feeling good is a GREAT way to spend a year (or 3 years as I did).

All the best mate.
