Firstly, that 290 was beautiful and super fast!

Secondly, sounds like an amazing place to train, no wonder your lifts are rocketing! Kep it up mate.

Felt fairly rested today and so decided to jack the numbers up a little.

125 x 3
135 x 2
143 x 1
135 x 3
143 x 2
150 x 1
143 x 3
150 x 2 - touch and go
160 x 1 - touch and go

Reasonably happy with that, no issues with elbow which is great, may try some comp style singles next week before tapering off.

That was all, have mother round today painting my skirting board. As a 140+ fat c**t it is quite a chore getting down that low Grin

start doing them to GPC commands. someone will need to do your commands.

spotter unrack, hold and wait for start command.
pause and wait for press command.
hold and wait for rack command. rerack.

I do occasionally when I'm spotted by another lad who trains for PL.

I noticed a lot of the lifters have a 'helper' come and unrack the bar for them before dashing off the platform. Is that just personal preference? i.e will the spotters on the day give me a lift off or will I need my own 'special friend'?

Spotters will give a lift off if you have no one. Think you need to inform head judge if you want a training partner to do centre lift off. In fact you can even unrack yourself if you want to.
