Basically I'm trying to go without carbs for as long as I can before I either A) Go insane B) Feel I really, really need them.

That equates to 'sensible' refeeds every 8-10 days, extending the standard refeed period of a week because they are not as critical when you have more to lose and also if I eat too many carbs on a refeed I can hold water for days afterwards and it can often feel like you are setting yourself back too much.

I'm not counting calories right now but have a rough idea.

Average day right now looks like:

4 smoked mackerel fillets
500g 12% mince beef
250g cheese
80-100g burger sauce
100g Impact whey
Double cream (added to coffee)

Sometimes I add in broccoli cheese too.

You can get noticeably leaner very fast going keto, the secret is not going too overboard on the refeeds. The right amount of carbs will refill muscle glycogen and make you look swole as f**k without effecting your new-found leanness. If you spill over you just start retaining water and going all moonfaced.

I like it because its very hard to eat s**t on keto, almost anything tempting has carbs in and when your 6 days into keto you don't want to eat even the smallest of 'treats' for fear of throwing yourself out because that just then renders the whole no carb thing pointless.

Trained shoulders today and amongst other things managed a strict axle press of 100.5 x 4 which is a rep PB so quite happy with that. FIN

Failed a 230kg DOH deadlift today but it got a lot further up than last week. 2 sets of 180x8 DOH done also.

Broccoli occasionally as I mentioned but other than that no. Surprising amount of carbs in a lot of veg which soon adds up. Probably more if I was 'juicing' but I'm not at the minute as I'm trying to save money. I've even switched to the peasant shop (aldi) to get most of my stuff and it's saving me a fortune

133.9kg / - 7.1kg total

On target despite some heavy duty pie eating during first part of the week.

Going training shortly then will have a relatively small refeed by simply eating a normal macro split this evening. As effective as no carb is it completely kills my brain power for studying, of which I have a lot to do. Anatomy and physiology with typical no carb low mood and brain fog is s**t!

Squatted tonight which was hard.

Working sets were 200/210/220 all for sets of 5, really had to work for it.

Defo getting more attention from the vageen now I've binned all the water off again, maybe its just how I perceive things and it's all in my head. Maybe I'm just an Aesthetic hyperlace 4 dimensional super being and I don't yet know it.

The vageen will flow like a tsunami of love.

Funny how the vageen prefers the dry look of being jacked and tan, while us big men prefer our vageen with soaking wet piss flaps.

Superb work on the weight loss too mate. I tried to follow suit but have just ate a silverside joint and a huge galaxy chocolate bar.

Haha, cheers mate.

Great effort on the beef front. I've started incorporating dark chocolate into my diet as it's very low carb compared to the usual stuff and not at all moreish so it nicely satisfies any sweet cravings I might get at 4am on a night shift when I'm flagging

definitely starts to get more obvious as you lean out - even an old f**ker like me has noticed. the whole 'dadbod' thing is bulls**t, women prefer a shapely figure and leaner aesthetic face.

Obviously got the refeed right this time as I woke up weighing bang on the same as I did yesterday, big bonus, no extra water weight to shift which is exactly what I wanted. A decent refeed without setting myself back.

Trained some chest and shoulders today which was hard work. Feeling a bit of a niggle in my left shoulder also. Fed up of f**king new years dickheads getting in the way which is always going to happen at a commercial gym.

Oh well off to absolute tomorrow for some doh action, hopefully Aki stays away.
