ANOTHER LONE SESSION TONIGHT 1 ARM DUMBELL PRESS 8 X 25 5 X 43 3 X 48 3 X 55 3 X 55 All done with each arm. Left always feels better! Need to do these regularly. Absolutely f**kin terrible at these! CLOSE GRIP BENCH PRESS (SMITHS MACHINE) 5 X 70 5 X 110 5 X 150 3 X 165 CONV. BENCH 10 X 110 10 X 110 PRESS DOWNS 2 SETS OF 10 X 20 WT? | ||

I'm getting slightly more free time now grass and bushes are starting to cease growing!! I'm more or less sure it is getting better. I get off days sometimes but on the whole I think it's going in the right direction. I'm my own worst enemy in that I probably don't give it enough time, but I'm trying to hold back even when my last set on squats and deadlifts are easy. I've been trying extension stretches the past couple of weeks and they seem to have helped. Also I bought a gym ball a few months back so I'm going to do some core stability work which might help the old problem. | ||

A good off-season on the events and you should be well up there! Had to do a bit of fencing yesterday and my back felt crap TBH, but today it feels ok again!! I'm hoping to build up more stabilty around the joint with core work, ab and lower back stuff before hitting the heavy work again. | ||

![]() Weird injury specialist - now with funny groin Member 283, 1648 posts | Tonight's quick session! SQUATS 12 X 60 8 X 100 5 X 140 3 X 180. Unfortunately had to leave it there. I got a shooting pain going into my left groin, feels like it came from the lower back though then refered round to my groin. Got home and iced it for 10 mins or so and took a couple of ibruprofen. Going to get ice on again in a minute! s**t! Hopefully it will go away fairly quickly. Had it before so nothing new. | ||
