Joni said:well how about we agree that 190 triples with fronts is at least "moderate" weight Grin

nice climb up mate! Whats the plan, will you do "heavy" sessions before the years end?

Joni TBH the fronties felt quite heavy! More conditioning and leg/back endurance is the plan until the new year. Out comes Millsy's new sled!!!!
Like I said I might up the wt on fronties but back squats, just lots of reps and sets 140-180 range I think. What do you reckon?

Thing said:two nice sessions.

i was thinking to do high rep back squats with a belt to get the blood moving around. was thinking of starting at 100kg.

Cheers Neil. It might help. My legs and my lower back were pumped up like hell after 4x15 @ 140.

Pushies felt good tonight. I was tempted to go heavier but decided to save that for another day perhaps when James or Dia are around to prompt!
Decided to hammer abs more. My back has been hurting more on extension so more flexion might do it good. I can only try it.
Still doing the rehab work and ab work at home and in my dinner hour. I've been doing loads of partial sit ups, holding at the top for 10 seconds and these really hit home!

It will be good to meet up and thanks for the encouragment!
The back rehab work seems to be working well now. It's took 3-4 months for the bas***d to show real improvement but I think it is going in the right direction now!Happy

Cheers Neil. I was thinking, extension bothers the injury so try more flexion. I know it sounds like a no-brainer but.....it takes a while for things to sink in!
I must admit my back always feel better from doing ab work and I've been doing the hip rotation work that Pascal showed me and I'm not feeling as much strain on my sacroilliac joints on the inward rotations as I did a few weeks back.

Cheers Joni, mr Small and JC. The pushies felt really good last night and my bodyweight was only 126.5. I thought my wt had gone up but the gym scales tell a different story. My scales must be f**ked!

Not got back to deadlifting yet Ian. I did do some stiff-legged deadlifting last night but only light wts. I did use the wheels for the clean + presses though and it was much better, no need to carefully lower the bar anymore!

Trained with Millsy this morning!

DEADLIFTS (I know I said I wouldn't do these until the new Year)

10 X 60
5 X 110
5 X 150
3 X 190
3 X 190
5 X 190

FARMERS

70 X 40 M
110 X 20
130 X 20
135 X 20

YOKE

160 X 20
240 X 20
300 X 20 IN 11.12 SECS
340 X 10
380 X 10

Felt like I was treading through treacle on the farmers but yoke was ok. 380 felt bloody heavy!
Millsy moved well with the yoke and farmers but I think the cold hampered us a wee bit. That's my excuse anyway!
