Looks like you had a good competition there.

Bit unusual to miss a 180 squat if 170 was easy. Nice work on hitting your recent PB deadlift again.

Cheers, I enjoyed it fully! As for the squat though, the bar stayed on our back whilst the loaders added weight - was tough after the first two seeing as 175 is my squat PB.

Note to self: 20 rep squats at some point next week, followed by a smolov cycle and the quest for huge triceps and boulder shoulders is ON!!! Grin

Lol, moonwalk on the dumbell was classic. Wind was blowing you backwards! Happy

Solid gains since the classic just a few months ago, didn't look out of your depth at all, just standard was f**king high, tough to claw points in a small field. Lightest guy there was well, should play on this a lot! Happy

Thanks man, I was pretty light actually...Grin the standard was very high, you're right! I won't play on it (much lol), i will just have to work even harder to close the gap next year! Happy

Thanks for yet another great comp! Strongman HQ is like a small piece of paradise! Cool gym too! I'm gonna have to make a few trips to train with you guys!

20 rep squats are brutal. I've only done them once with 115 and after I staggered into the bathroom and just about passed out.

Well, I decided my legs felt OK today to train, so i started Smolov cycle. Why when I was made did they give me such skewed common sense....

Mon 30th May

Squats


5 x 60kg
5 x 110kg
4 x 9 x 126kg

Incline Bench

5 x 40kg
5 x 50kg
5 x 60kg
3 x 80kg PB (i think)
1 x 80kg

Flyes

8 x 15kg
3 x 8 x 22.5kg

Neutral Grip Pull Ups

3 x 8 x bw

Took me ages to walk home I took bigger strides with the yoke yesterday than walking home tonight Grin
