Lower back felt stiff after 2 days off....plus gym closed as well so I was forced to stop here. More warm ups needed next session but all's well really so can't complain Grin

Did a bit of messing with a dumbbell over the weekend, nothing major, shoulders feel sore from lying on them all night, need to stop sleeping on my side Roll-Eyes

Powercleans and strict press (1 clean per set)

Felt good today, nice few days of taking it easy has helped. Squats tomorrow though at 10am so not sure how that will go...also more .clean practice for technique, maybe a cheeky snatch or two as well, who knows Grin

Haha! I have to agree with you there. That'd be heart attack central for me. Good luck though! I hear that a glass of apple juice wakes you up just as effectively as coffee does and you don't get the heart pain lol.

Felt stiff and achey from deadlifts yesterday...

Clean to Front Squats (In an attempt to learn a full oly clean rather than powercleaning everything

5 x 40kg
5 x 70kg
3 x 80kg
f x 90kg twice...first attempt I caught it and overbalanced, falling backwards Grin 2nd attempt I lost it forwards and ended up on my knees after catching it ~heheh
5 x 3 x 70kg

Felt like a proper oly clean by the end of these sets at 70kg, gonna keep doing these as it feels like doing these are teaching me to get under the bar quickly. Jerk tekkers next :P

Yeah for sure, any time is good, I was stuck back in Lancashire last weekend, was supposed to be back up on Saturday but couldn't get back til Monday, which I am not gonna complain about, as it meant I was able to see my son for an extra couple of days Happy (Not seen him since January!)

Nice to see the squats went good. a 160 when you're feeling stiff isn't that bad at all!
My training partner is the same as you with the coffee.I get him a double ristretto before squats on a Tuesday. Seems to make him stronger. It must be doing the same thing to you lol.

Had a couple of deadlift sessions, cant remember what i did exactly but nothing major, just resting now for saturday

Still havent had any event practice though and life is kinda hard at the mo as well so im not really expecting much on saturday Unhappy
