Events at Results today with Ben, then later on Chris and was good to meet Ken today as well!

Farmers Hold

90kg x 3 x some time

Axle Squats

5 x axle
5 x 93kg
3 x 133kg
1 x 153kg then 2nd rep axle slipped off my back...

Axle Push Press

5 x axle slow and strict
5 x 93kg

Dumbbell OH press

Left arm just did some at around 20kg to rehab

Right arm did

5 x 40kg
1 x 50kg
3 x 50kg
2 x 5 x 50kg

Felt knackered today, stiff and aching all over but need the event practice so it had to be done. Hung around at the end to get some tips off the big boys, watched Ken nail 78kg circus dumbbell as well which was pretty cool.


(Not mentioning the fact that Ben phoned to say he had tweaked his back and so I went back to bed, then he text saying basically where are you you lazy bas***d so I HAD to go Grin )

Looks like I should have hung around for a bit longer...(didn't want to get in the wifes bad books Grin) Turned out to be decent session!

Yeah it was a good day, Ken pretty much ran with 370 yoke and Chris nailed it for a PB as well...the day before his Shetland comp...Grin I think theres a few going up there to watch if you're interested, I can't go as I'm working tomorrow.

Just had a thought Ben, how heavy did you say that fat dumbbell handle at results is? it might be better to train with than a regular dumbbell

Ahh, that one! Not sure, must be about 10kg, it's about 3.5" thick. Good plan for next week.

DB Hammer Curls

5 x 35kg - not full reps, slightly too heavy this week.
2 x 5 x 32.5kg

EZ Bar Reverse Curls

8 x bar + 30kg
3 x 8 x bar + 35kg

Wrist Roller

3 x both ways with 15kg plate

Curls Machine

Up to 35kg a hand, drop sets etc BB style for a few sets to failure

Feelin the BURN now, arms are pumped to the max! Might go pub for a gun show pint or two lol Grin

2 x 3 x 120kg
5 x 120kg

Dips

8 x bw
8 x bw + 20kg
4 x bw + 30kg - painful tri so back to 20kg
2 x 6 x 20kg

Felt tired today, everything felt about 50kg heavier lol.

Gonna take a day off tomorrow as I feel right royally f**ked just now.

I train at the Sports Village and results for events on Saturday (If I get to bed after work early enough on a Friday night that is)

Sweet. I also train at the Sports Village (good gym), might have inadvertently see you about. Been to Results a few times in 09, too, but joined the Sports Village permanently because it's cheaper, which is important to me because I'm a skint student. Plus, the SV has more squat racks and platforms. Apparently Results has got all new equipment now, though. What's it like?
