bas***d! lol

Our written is 2 weeks after OSCEs. When do you guys start back up? I've got my BSc next year, and we don't start back until nearly October, which gives a HUGE summer holiday (our last big one really).

s**t, that sucks. Reminds me that our 5th academic year is f**king 53 weeks long!

Just need to pass these exams to ensure I actually enjoy this summer holidays. I failed previous exams and had summer resits for year 1 and 2. I suck at exams and revising and s**t.

Nice work with the benching and the chins. You must have a strong back to pull 7 with bodyweight after all that. Also, our benches look to be close to the same right now as I pushed a sketchy 102.5 very recently. You should join (and beat) Namonster and I in the race to 120kg.

Dunno about that, I'd probably struggle for 90 right now.

I reckon you'd still beat me to 120 lol. I gain about 100g a week on my bench haha

I'm in exam mode for the next 6 weeks (NEED TO GET OFF THE INTERWEBS!!!!). So I've only got my home setup which means no hand-off and no spotters, plus not eating much.

That's a major bummer man. Good luck with your exams, I hope all goes well and that you manage to stay off these interwebs.

Good to see you're taking it easy on the run-up to exams. I found sumo deadlifts a great way to work back into things after I messed up my back - lets you keep your posterior chain going while reducing the sheer forces on your lumbar spine.

Shoot me a PM if you want some .doc files with good, solid instructions on how to do the various clinical examination OSCEs. They were written by a friend who walked through finals with 90-100% in every single station and they're utterly invaluable. Won't be able to send them for another 4 weeks until I get back to my usual computer though.

Cheers, I might take you up on those OSCE files, but the OSCEs are in four weeks! lol

I'm fine for examinations I think, just some of the focused history taking catches me out sometimes. I need to also be able to explain a whole list of procedures, most of which I haven't actually seen in person; but patients.co.uk takes care of that for me.

I've done everything now, just need to keep practicing so that I'm "slick" (as everyone keeps saying).

I thought my triceps would be destroyed today, but I don't feel a thing. Surprising considering I rarely do any direct triceps work.
