Nah, hook-grip. My thumbs are a bit short and my grip is pretty s**t. So long as the bar is less than 29mm diameter, hook-grip is doable for me.

OK, so holidays are here now, which means I need to start training properly in my garage. f**k me though, there's about 6 inches of snow outside. I have a few pallets, but not enough to stack high enough for safeties when squatting. I've been pretty good though these past few months, and haven't missed a squat since September.

I need to get a big electric heater to switch on 30 minutes before going out there.

I've left my barbell inside the house so it's not frozen when I go out there.

I'm gonna wear a big hoodie, Dave Tate style.



EDIT: Make that 12 inches of snow.

I'm also an amateur photographer, but haven't been shooting much over the past few years since starting medicine. I finally dusted off and dragged out the big camera and brought it with me to the gym. I set it up and had my friend click the shutter.

I should photoshop on some more plates. Grin

522.5 kgs @ 89.5kgs UnEq		Bit annoyed with this shot. It's slightly out of focus as it was focusing on the background. So it's not as sharp as it should be. You don't notice it as much on this small view, but it's more obvious on a large view. Meh, it's not like this is going up on my wall or something.
