Not so good for stability during oly lifts. The woman behind the desk gave me a load of s**t and told me to put my shoes back on in case I dropped the bar on my foot. I was tempted to point out that shoes wouldn't stop me breaking my foot if the bar landed on it but it's not worth the effort, so the last few sets of power cleans were pretty iffy as a result of the shoes. | ||

Don't have to use much weight if any to really get a good pump and stretch. 03/05/11 ME Lower Trap bar DL - 3x5x150kg not including bar weight Bulgarian split squats - 3x12xBW+5kg per hand SSB good mornings - 4x10x40kg not including bar weight Left seated calf raise - 3x12x12.5kg Loved today's session, haven't had to grind out heavy reps like that for a long, long time and my legs were shaking like mad after the split squats. The guy behind the desk thinks their trap bar weighs 30kg so that would make it 3 sets of 5 with 180kg, which is nice progress on my numbers from the UK. | ||
