To be honest Tom if you don't communicate your training style/routine to the GB coaches and let them know in advance what you hope/plan to do at the session you may not be in control of what you plan to do on the day. Communicate clearly - you have everyones e-mail, then you won't have a problem in future...honest advice that's all...

Cheers Tony. I'm quite happy at squad sessions to just do as I'm told... I don't know if there's a pb deadlift for the taking until I've pulled at least 320kg, so I had no clue beforehand, and ad I said I'm just happy to do what I'm told. I was only moaning because I felt it was a missed opportunity that's all. Pb's aren't there for the taking every day.

WOW, just read through probably the last 20pages of your log
im surprised you still write a log with all this negativity and snipe.

I find it awesome what you lift and totally admire your unique training style.
I just hope you use the negativity to fuel your ridiculous progress.

Im openly jelous of your totals .. not of your hair though, mine was longer when i was young Tongue

Tom your communication as well as your training sucks.

I still love you though, even with all your obvious faults.

I know, thanks Tony....

360kg.....world record in the 93's as well... Would be nice to have it in both 83's and 93's by the end of the year...

would you have to weight over 83 for a 93 record to count ?

Yeah which means I have to get on a plane twice this year to accomplish that...if there was a 3rd opportunity, I'd like to go for 375 at 105 too......UNREAL bodyweight gain !!!

Perhaps it would be wise to play to your strengths? Given your raw total is circa 80kg over the current british record set by Rob you could even things out somewhat by taking that record first...Wink

You're more than good enough to play where the action is (i.e. equipped), so why mess about?

Just my opinion.

PS: Tom, you're a c**t. Kisses.

My point was, Rob has the raw and the equipped records at the moment, although it would appear Tom's stronger raw, given the increasing popularity of old school lifting it might be worth a good battle with Rob u/e aswell?

Contrary to popular belief, my lifting career doesn't revolve around beating Rob, he's a great lifter and I've a lot of respect for that, but I want to be world champion and I want to not be in the 83's... Until Rob is world
Champion in the 93's or 105's i wont worry myself about it...His 280kg raw deadlift record is safe, I'd take very little pleasure in beating that...
