nice work mate! Good work on the log especially!

Hey how about training on friday? That would suit me better than sunday which would automatically mean f**ked session on monday in adders Grin

Whats the plan on the log for next session?
Avatarlittle_a

1RM attempt? Wink
AvatarSparrow
Cheers lads - I certainly hope so Olly!

Joni - my dad gets here on Friday from Spain (about 4.00), so it probably isn't the best time to do a strongman session. I'll have to have a think about this one...

Log for next session (I'm not homophobic, so I don't mind), is 4's with 100, or at least that's the plan anyway Unhappy

Still couldn't do skull crushers as shoulder is still not right from wrestling a fortnight ago. Good news is that I thought I had done my back in badly on Saturday. Spent Sat night on the couch, Ibuprofened up, on my own, in pain, thinking "not again" as it was the same place as last time I did it in. However, Monday morning felt much better, today nearly right, so scare over. I can highly recommend an electric blanket to anyone with a bad back, as I really did expect to wake up stiff as a board (as when I went to bed it caused me immense pain to remove my socks), but no. It's all down to the eleccy blanket. Get yourselves one, and a wife who is constantly freezing, so you have to have it roasting hot all night, causing you severe discomfort and sweating, but leaves you with a good back. Bingo!
AvatarJoni
back ok mate?
AvatarBoar
Good to hear you back aint as bad as first thought !

I can now understand how f**king knackering grappling in jonboy , awsome for cardio n conditioning , not so awsome for being twisted into wierd shapes
AvatarSparrow
Yeah, it seems OK. Just going to have to be kind to it for a couple of weeks I think. Thanks for the concern lads.

Jonny - wrestling/judo is immensely difficult. I can't think of anything which gets you blowing more than it. Great for cardio, nit great, like you say, for being slammed/twisted/bent/choked/leaned on and all other kinds of unpleasant things. Great fun though!

Wed 6/2

18" deadlifts
warm up to 205kg x 2, 235kg x 1 (I'm sad to say this may actually be a PB), 255kg x f, 235kg x 2 (If the single with 235 was a PB then so was this double), 245kg x f, Angry

Deadlifts
177kg x 3, 200kg x 3,3,3 back went on the last set. Angry These were going up very nicelt too. Workout was pretty much written off at this point. Did 4 sets of chest supported rows and 6-7 sets of 10 on chins.

I'm going to have to be careful with my back, as I have had lots of problems with it in the past. Had a really good run with it for a couple of years now, so don't want to mess it up properly again. Deload time Unhappy
