Thanks everyone!

Smalls, the plan is 300 / 170 / 330 I would be satisfied with this!

I know where you are coming from Tom, but if you were to try multi-ply kit at some point you would find out. Get a tight multiply suit or briefs and you will get to a point where it stops you, literally stops you as in you cant go down any further without breaking down your form all together.
This is why I prefer squatting in my centurion compared to my multi ply briefs. The briefs stop me at a certain point whereas me centurion slows me down then springs me back up. Its hard to explain tbh, you just have to feel it for yourself.
Metal claim you cant have rebound and stopping power, im not so sure I reckon the centurion does.
*ends ramble*
Keep doing your crazy lifting Tom.

My very very tight super centurion would let me descend about 3-4 inches, then stop me dead, no matter how much weight was on the bar.... It was too tight... Anyway, my point is, I understand stoping power, that's simple, the material only stretches so far until it either stops you or rips.

My looser cents all stop me at some point, then I just need to throw weight on the bar. There's still enough room for the material to stretch, but a certain depth it's either going to stop me dead regardless of weight, or rip!

So what I've concluded from this, is all suits have 'stopping power' at the limits of how far the material can stretch. What I don't get is why this supposedly doesn't 'rebound' you back up! The material MUST snap back to it's original (or close to) unstretched state, otherwise the suit would be basically a depth gauge, and then it would be 'all you' on the way back up! So what 'is' 'rebound' ? The suit snapping back to it's original state to help you stand up with more weight? Or is there some other mystical element?

Presuming what I've said is on some level accurate, it seems to me ALL suits have stopping power and rebound.
It would seem a suit that stretches just far enough to stop you just below parallel is ideal, but if it stays the same shape as it is WHEN you're at parallel, then it offers you no 'rebound' NO assistance on the way up, and is a f**king retarded idea.

Now, if the suit that you're saying gives you loads of 'rebound' allows you to sink Squats indefinitely deep because it seemingly has 'no stopping power' I would suggest it does have stopping power, it's just too loose for you to ever find the point where it stops you. Wear a tighter one that does stop you 'in the hole' and you'll notice it has stopping power, and I'm presuming a lot more 'rebound' too.

But then there's some suits that are so stretchy (inzer hardcore, or for the purpose of an example, a Titan singlet) that are SO stretchy, you mind it impossible to put one on tight enough to ever find it's point where it stops you, and if you did, you might find it would rip very easily, especially the singlet. I'd suggest a suit that stretches so easily cannot possibly rebound as forcefully as a suit that is tight enough to have 'stopping power'.

So my conclusion is it's all marketing, so I've come up with new definitions.

Stopping power - put one of these on tight enough and it will stop you. And then help you get back up.
Rebound - too stretchy a material to ever stop you. Consequently, has more 'rebound' than 'stopping power' but much less of easy than a suit that's capable of stopping you.

As always, happy for you to all tell me just how wrong I am...

Squat - 300
Bench - 172.5
Deadlift - 330

Went for a 358 deadlift just because it would beat veil kumpuniemi's record, I'd already totalled 802.5 so I was happy enough and didn't feel the need to get a safe 812.5 or something. Anyway, it was an inch from my knees, it wouldve gone if it got over my knees... Next time!

Badly! 280 failed on depth, jumped to 300 anyway and f**ked it up, had to take a step forwards, then 300 good for my 3rd
