Weight loss report: weight 115.5kg, 2kg down from start of the month. initial fast weight loss expected, and now i try to aim at 0.5kg per week. Strength seems to be holding up, feeling ok.

Good session today with Milsy at THE DUNGEON.

Carl, you might need to wait till next year to hear about the comps. I'll keep my eye out for one for you as well mate.

Thing, yeah plan is to do some conditioning work every time and medleys as well, today we were a bit pressed for time so we just nailed the 80m farmers, which leave me absolutely gassed for sure Grin

will, 113kg by the end of the year mate Wink Hopefully i dont have to cut more than that!

Was pretty hammered from yesterdays strongman so i thought of going to adlington for a light session and do some snatching. But adlington doesnt work that way...

power clean & jerk

Things from Alan: knees back, over the bar, hips through - i am way too upright after the initial push with legs and there is no room for the hips to kick more power in. Also: quick with the arms to get under the bar, no muscling the weight up.

Plan: keep the weight around 60 next week and just drill drill drill

1x145 - felt good, so why not:
fx165 - damn, went forwards and that was the end of it before it properly started. So little_a told me to do:
3x140 - nice triple PB, had to fight for it. Adders magic in action.

varies man, deeper ones are actually stronger! s**t, should have asked the witnesses in the room how the depth was with the 140s, i was just fighting them all the way and they did feel deep. Little_a? Rick? Fat Pete?

Are the rules for a good front squat the same as a back squat, breaking parallel?

Or should front squats be deeper?

I was side spotting on your 140s so it was hard to tell, but they certainly weren't high. I think you'd actually still be better another bit lower with more speed in your dig, but that'll come with time and confidence!
