Strength seems to be holding up, feeling ok.Good session today with Milsy at THE DUNGEON. IFSA log 3x70 4x70 2x80 4x90 4x90 4x90 10x75 sets got better as we went along. Some really nice reps there, some grinders when i timed the leg drive long, or didnt have much of it. Yoke 20m with: 80 160 240 - one drop 280 - no drops 300 - one drop just before the end, bas***d! PB territory! incline log press, steep incline, start from the top 6x70 5x80 3x90 6x100 - happy with this! farmers conditioning 80m x 75kg - gassed! Good session and we didnt even kill ourselves. | ||

But adlington doesnt work that way... power clean & jerk 3x50 3x50 2x60 2x60 1x70 1x80 1x90 1x95 form not good, so: just power cleans: 3x60 5x60 5x60 2x60 - with a jerk and with wee bit of squatting under clean & jerk 2x80 1x90 Things from Alan: knees back, over the bar, hips through - i am way too upright after the initial push with legs and there is no room for the hips to kick more power in. Also: quick with the arms to get under the bar, no muscling the weight up. Plan: keep the weight around 60 next week and just drill drill drill front squats 5x70 3x115 1x145 - felt good, so why not: fx165 - damn, went forwards and that was the end of it before it properly started. So little_a told me to do: 3x140 - nice triple PB, had to fight for it. Adders magic in action. Snatch + OH squat (one snatch + then OH) 5x20 3x40 2x50 1x55 fx60 1x60 - yes, i'll have that! OH squat PB. Sometimes you have a great session when you least expect it! | ||

I think you'd actually still be better another bit lower with more speed in your dig, but that'll come with time and confidence! | ||
