left the country satisfied Member 10, 19241 posts SQ 240, BP 150, DL 270660.0 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq | still bollockxed from wednesdays session. push press 6x50 5x60 fast. narrow grip 2 board press 6x60 5x80 5x100 4x110 4x115 2x120 10x100 that went better than expected. dumbell bench press 10x20 6x37.5 3x45 3x45 10x37.5 had to go to 45kg dbs because one of the 42.5kg ones was "broken" (read: the b olt was loose and it takes weeks for them to tighten it in this gym). Not ideal, but triples were an ok result nevertheless. I've done a double with 50s so still a wee while to old strength. narrow grip pulldowns 2 x warm up 3 x 8 x 112 | ||

Log press 3x70 1x80 fx85 fx85 - will get it next week easy 2x80 - in 75 seconds, tried third, but no pressing strength 5x70 - in 75s Goal in the comp has been upped to 5 reps. Farmers walks 40m x 30 40m x 70 38m x 100 - the farmers got stuck to eachother in the 20m turn, lost loads of energy trying to get them loose Yoke 20m x 130 20m x 210 20m x 230 - with 1 drop, 48 seconds Goal for the comp: 225 for 20m in 20 seconds Stone 105kg lapped, no chance to the platform This is my major weakness now, more focus on it next week incline log press (steep) 15x70 12x70 Good session considering the pain and aches, but could have been better. Improved in farmers and yoke, and logs was the first proper session, so thats not too bad. Stones will need more focus. 3 more strongman sessions before the comp! | ||

Still way off pre-december strength levels, but catching up fast! bench press 8x60 5x80 3x100 2x110 1x115 1x120 2x120 6x110 5x110 5x110 8x100 whoops, thats a fair bit of volume. Push press 5x60 3x70 3x80 2x85 - tough 1x90 - tough but made it almost on my previous strength levels with push press. shoulder machine press cant remember the work sets upwards, but the top was: 4x95 (stack) - 2 rep improvement from last week 12x75 two sets of db rear delt flyes | ||

Perhaps this constant pushing is catching up on me, i need a good nights sleep (havent had one for two weeks now) and some serious relaxation to keep the gains coming. Squats 6x60 5x100 3x140 2x160 2x180 - first wee high, second sky high, need to get used to heavy weights again. Strength is there. 6x155 rack pulls - just below knee height few sets up to 5x200 before failing with 220 and 210 - just didn't have the edge today. power shrugs 15x200 15x220 | ||
