most things are smaller than those bazookas!

Today i joined a gym with a pool. Plan is to hit the pool twice a week and do some yoga s**t at the place as well, as well as cardio and some other small stuff.

Did 8 lengths of swimming and some stretching.

virgin active, formerly known as the posh ass holmes place at printworks. 10 minute walk from our place, and the pool is by far the best one in central manc.

Its also one of them ozone filtered babies without much chlorine. And a sweet yacuzzi as well which doesn't hurt Wink

thanks man, but i think it is not very good to be honest. It used to be so much stronger when i was hitting the grippers hard. Maybe i should dust off my trusted grippers once more!

Short term target is to do 20 reps with 140 DOH and move up from there.

Quite heavy DOMS from yesterday, forearms locked and traps are on fire. Exellent.

15 minutes cross trainer, setting 11, 250 calories

GUNZ BLAZING!

Narrow grip bench
10x60
10x80
8x90

Barbell curls
10x30
10x40
10x40

swimming: 10 laps

Today a good session despite still being weak as f**k. Few more sessions like this and i will be back in action in no time.

Also dropped a 20kg plate on my foot, which is now swollen and tender, but i dont think i messed up anything vital. Note to self: just dont do it again.

Warm up combo.

Squats
6x60
5x100
3x130
1x150
3x150 - sky high but s**t happens.
6x130

Bench press
6x60
5x80
3x100
2x110
1x110
5x100

rack pulls, just above knee, straps
8x120
3x170
3x220 - JYES!
3x250 - f**k JYES!!
fx272.5kg - got it up about one inch before stalling (his fanny got in the way) Unusual for me since i usually just fail by not being able to move it at all on rack pulls.

Platform deads (supposed to be speed work, but the modest speed of the pulls dont justify calling them that)
5x60
5x110
2x140
2x140
2x160
2x160

Back extensions
2x20x stack.

It was a pretty direct drop, too, didn't bounce off anything on the way down to slow it. If you've still got that toenail at the weekend you've done rather well.

Joni man, you sold yourself well short! You did 220kg x 3, 250kg x 3 and then failed 272.5kg on the rack pulls. I'll edit it in for you matey.

Those rack pulls were sweet as f**k! Great fun.
