Went to gay gym again as shift again. Parents are up this w/e so no unit then either

Pounds again I'm afraid

hang snatch into oh squat
25/3 35/3 45/3 55/3 65/3 75/3 85/a wobbly squat sostopped

clean into myfirst realattempt at split jerks (1c and 2p)
135/2 155/2 175/1 195/1

Stopped there as was cleaning in an area full of bench's and s**t and thought it could go wrong. Cleans were ugly as usual but jerk didn't feel too bad

in rack - strict split jerk push press tripple press
135/1 of each
155/1 of each
175/f strict but 1 of others
195/just last 2
205/f jerk. Didn't get enough hieght. Short by about 3"

oly squat 135/5 225/5 then realised I needed to leave for work. Now I'm gonna sit and figure out what all that means in kg

i think thats right in kg maybe not to the exact kilo but its a roughish estimate... good training mate keep the snatches up man !

Thankyou very much. But can't help thinking you must be bored to buggery

stopped the snatch to oh sq because the squat got hard. Snatch was easy. Next time at unit I want a 60 snatch then maybe reps with 80/85c+j would be a sensible plan toget some speed in it still


No doubt I'll go for a max again

Can't remember if it was 55 or 60 but 60 didn't go last week but will this. 90 is best clean. What ever went today 91 is best jerk. 100 pushy.

Little bit of work things will fly up........hopefully

Cheeky pre night shift oly day as per the new plan

warm up/stretching/technique work
oh squats, snatch balance and drop snatch

all for 5's with ez bar, normal bar, 25, 30, 35 and 40k

what can only be called a power snatch, as I get reasonable depth with oh squats but don't dip at all when I try and snatch.
40/3 45/3 50/3 55/2 57.5/1x2 60/1x2f (got them both above my head but had a tiny tiny press) 55/3 55/2

power clean and split jerk
50 60 70 75 80 85 all for doubles. Some cleans good some ropey. Most jerks were quite snappy

jerk from rack
75 80 85 for doubles 90/1

done and time for a night shift

Reality - feeling groggy post night shift. Got up had breakfast and set off

sled outside on grippy Tarmac

felt sick

vomited
80/30m hard
100/20-80/10
brutal
laid down
felt horrible
picked up kettlebell
put it down
picked up log
put it down
sat down
picked up the frame for the unit comp to see what it was like
put it down

my excuse is I was night shift. Bicep lasted till 100 sled before vomiting and was ad pathetic as me too

Gay gym again so pundz

was gonna dead but the free weight bit was full of s**te. Someone must off been doing curls in the rack as it was set at 18". Too convienient to say no

18"ers 135/5 225/5 315/5 405/5 455/3 495/2pb 545/f

no anger there today but not suprised with the atmosphere in there

dumb bench on an increadably high bench where I could barely touch floor
30/8 45/8 60/8 75/8 90/5 105/f too wobbly

1 arm row with straps
55/8 100/8 120/5 140/5pb 160/8pb. Same reps done on both arms

straight into a max rep set of fat mans for the pump

1 arm rope push down 20/40/60 all for 10 80/6. Both arms 100/25

hammer curls 30/40/50/60 all for 6

I think I need to film myself to see what I'm actually doing.

I also need to improve my flexability especially in my wrists bizarly. Have you any tips and movements for doing this. I've just started to put my hands flat against a wall and stretch them that way

I also need to get under the bar more and work with just the bar for a while



So to wrap it up all I need is time, technique and to be stronger. Simples Grin

14 hours drinking on Sat watching rugby so no unit on sun

tonight
unit with usual mid weekers

warm up of some oh squats with bar

40k 5pc+pp 3 power snatch

50k 2pc+pp 3 power snatch

power snatch 2 singles at 60k pb. Both easy

p clean and pushy 60/5 70/5 80/3 85/2f3rd. I blame it on a photographer standing infront with a flashy camera. Would of gone I feel

speed deads. 100/5 140/3 170/3x2

stone to 51.5" 85/1x2 100/1 117/lapped but fail load 85/5

my brother in law is a police officer and when he was training i took him out for a run sprints and hill climbs he then was sick on himself and at that time i smoked and was about 14 stone and he passed cut a long story short f**k the running your in good nick for a wee fatty and just concetrate and winning u90s then u can be the the strongest midget in scotland lol
