Really enjoyed todays session as we were in no rush (which makes a nice change) and we had a good old blow out for about 1hour 15mins...

Yes they were mate I think, I'm trying to concentrate a lot more on these at the minute with form etc, where as in the past I've just chucked em up. I tend to lower it down a little slower and have a pause on the chest before blasting it back up... I have been advised in the past however to not worry about the weight so much but gain a little speed instead of increasing the weight so I might be jumping the gun a tad !!

are they just to build speed and do you not find that they upset the shoulder ive sterted speed work and my shoulder now feels odd im getting twinges and some uncomfort.

yup thats about right mate. 70 not to heavy tho considering you do 100 x 5 on your heavy day. sounds right to me

They are just to build speed yes, its something I have not concentrated on much before and didn't realise the importance of it to be honest. I reckon its the speed coupled with bad form that give me a limited bench so I'm trying to do something about it.

A crap, token effort today, as I ate a dodgy chilli-con-carne and my guts have been doing stuff I've never experienced before. I was due a deads session today but wouldn't have managed it without having a serious accident in the trouser department... anyway enough of that !!

Legs were absolutely frazzled afterwards, not done a leg press session for months and I enjoyed this just for a change...

some good sessions there on bench and leg press is that includeing the sled?? good weight 300+ think ill start some of them
