Member 869, 1355 posts SQ 320, BP 200, DL 310830.0 kgs @ 97.5kgs Eq | Yes they were mate I think, I'm trying to concentrate a lot more on these at the minute with form etc, where as in the past I've just chucked em up. I tend to lower it down a little slower and have a pause on the chest before blasting it back up... I have been advised in the past however to not worry about the weight so much but gain a little speed instead of increasing the weight so I might be jumping the gun a tad !! | ||

They are just to build speed yes, its something I have not concentrated on much before and didn't realise the importance of it to be honest. I reckon its the speed coupled with bad form that give me a limited bench so I'm trying to do something about it. | ||

Monday 30 Nov Leg Press 100 x 10 100 x 10 150 x 8 170 x 8 190 x 8 210 x 8 230 x 5 250 x 5 270 x 5 285 x 5 300 x 5 300 x 5 300 x 5 300 x 5 310 x 5 310 x 5 310 x 5 310 x 11 (last blast effort) Legs were absolutely frazzled afterwards, not done a leg press session for months and I enjoyed this just for a change... Finished off with: 4 sets of hanging leg raises 4 sets of weighted & decline sit ups 4 sets of side bends with 50 kg d/b's 4 sets of side twists | ||
