What is your cunning plan? Or would you prefer to keep it secret?

Nice work on the 45’s.

Knock a session off the split each time? Nice!

Nice low SR too considering the splits.

I am finding it hard to get motivated and difficult to put myself through the "wringer" Much more likely to have a crack at 1k in the next couple of weeks.

My cunning plan is to do the sessions I enjoy for 3/4 weeks followed by boring programme for 3/4 weeks

The session was all about the SR, pace was all I had at the given SR.

I reckon I have been a bit low on drag and a bit high on SR so trying to hit some middle ground. It was a tough session will maybe try it with 500's next time.

Is the above a session you would enjoy? Or is it part of the boring programme? It looks pretty horrendous and like the definition of putting yourself through the wringer.

I am now on the funtime sessions adapted by me

Rathburn programme is no doubt very good but I was starting to dislike training so whats the point in that for an old fella without the lure of an olympic medal at the end of a 4 year training block?

Can't argue with that! One of the reasons I switched to power lifting a while ago was to get away from the slog of cardio training, can't imagine why I started this rowing lark! Got to try and keep it fun though, lack of motivation is a killer.
