It's been a while. Life's a bit chaotic at present with new baby and all that. Training's going to be opportunistic for a while I reckon.

I also went round the ring road on my new bike, trying to figure it out and all that. Buying a bike has further highlighted how long my legs are in relation to my overall height. Even the bike shop guy remarked on them! I've had to tinker with the bike a bit to make the ride more comfortable for me. It's resulted in me having to adopt a fairly aggressive riding position.

I got completely destroyed by 2 Lance Armstrong looking wannabees on the ring road today. They looked like grasshoppers in lycra.

Did some hill training today. 20km route incorporating some pretty steep short, sharp inclines. This can be my commute to work quite easily from August.

I'll tell you what, climbing at 90kg BW on a bike that weighs over 10kg is pretty hard going!
