Ok so ive shut my old journal and im giving strongman a miss for the forseeable future for x,y and z reasons which i cant be arsed to go on about.

Will be doing what i want but staying as strong as i can as well as dropping some flab and adding in some conditioning and stuff to make me keep in decent shape. No comps planned, not sure of direction, just doing whatever.

I used to be an ok 105 strongman though so hopefully I wont do to shabby....

Anyway, did some training last week...

Friday

Pushpress
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 5
110kg x 5,5

Powercleans
60kg x 2
80kg x 2
100kg x 2
110kg x 2

working on technique

Deadlift
60kg x 5
100kg x 3
140kg x 3
180kg x 3
220kg x 2
260kg x 2
300kg x 2

WOD
Sumo Stance high pulls with 40kg
Pushjerk with 40kg

15,13,11,9,7,5,3,2,1 - did this with each exercise for time


Saturday

50 pullups
70 pressups
80 sit ups
75 squats

took me about 23 minutes lol


Monday

Did some snatch balance or whatever its called

Full Snatch
bar x loads
40kg x 2,2
50kg x 2

Squat - Belt and sleeves
60kg x 5
100kg x 5
140kg x 5
180kg x 5,5,5

Leg Press
4 sets of 10 increasing in weight and short rest

WOD
Grace - 60kg clean and press x 30 reps in about 6 mins. lol

Fin

BW in the am is 106kg

JC - Indeed i am trying to be ripped, and just fitter and in good nick. Wont drop any lower than 100-102kg though, I wont let it happen!!

Andy - There will be an element of crossfit in here, but not as mad as Millsy.

straight into

x 5 round
finished with 20 more snatches
