Why would pulling from below the knees not make you stronger at pulling from below the knees?

If your weak just below the knee, its likely your getting out of position

nothing makes you stronger in a s**t position than deficits

by all means do block pulls though, but they wont help at all

I find block pulls actually help with floor strength in a regular dead a lot more than lockout strength Happy

Edit to add : Pulling from the knees off blocks is nothing like the position you will be in at the top of a deadlift.

You are not understanding, i am doing them to get stronger at 18" deadlifts (is right around that), not to address a weakness from off the floor.

Yes am hoping they, along with stiff legs help off the floor but is mainly for higher deads.
