25.09.10 Events.

Yoke:

2 x 20m x 135kg,
2 x 15m x 235kg,
2 x 15m x 285kg,
15m x 335kg,
~7m x 370kg PR

Tyre flip 380kg:

1 x 5,
1 x 4

Yoke went nicely! Thought I'd raise the weight in every training a bit..if my body holds up.
Happy with the short one on 370. Should start moving my legs more efficiently. During the end part that happened..not too much on the start.
Started to get our tyre flipped with one motion which had seemed mission impossible at this point. Got it out of the floor also real snappy and made me wonder how's my back feeling if I'd tease the deadlift next week a bit.. Wink
Was supposed to do stones on top but too low energy for that at this point and my legs were blasted. Next week then..

how do you feel the yoke is on your back? as you have a herniated disc??

I don't have any pain on my back during or after the yoke!!
It just won't stress lower back that way..

Usually it doesen't like me competing.. Pilates has helped great deal though!!

Deads:

5 x 60kg,
5 x 120kg,
5 x 160kg,
1 x 200kg,
8 x 220kg

Seated cable rows:

8 x 65kg,
8 x 90kg,
8 x 120kg,
8 x 140kg,
6 x 160kg

Ab's on a cable machine:

3 x 20

Basic is best.
Seated rows felt pretty good after a good 6 years of break.. Grin
Thursday is the time to (attempt) pull an old bus..

I did pilates too but it didn't help my problem that much.

I have alays seen my self better with single's but 10's with a decent weight on the deadlifts seem great for conditioning.

Leg curls:

5 x 8-14 x 20-40kg

Didn't get the chance to pull a bus yesterday because the rope between me and the truck was missing..not happening again on Sunday. Then it will move!!
Was so pissed that decided to go and do some fronties. They went well..
