Ok ok the 180 felt far too slow, like a PB. I trebled 185 last week so was hoping for a not too difficult 195 PB. The slow 180 just made me think f**k it. Maybe i should do some heart rate increasing warm up or something if i train having not done a shift at work first.

SAME f**kING THING. Anyway wanted a 115 x 3 and it obviously wasn't to be today so went home for milk and a wank.


And to top off this terrible session i remembered i was late for something so didn't even have time for the cheeky tug which was going to make this less s**t.

I did these flatish backed today, BB style rather than my usual big arch. The theory being to get my basic raw pressing strength up which seems pretty bad.

The set of 8 was a rep PB and felt good, the 180 double was better than the awful single last week but i've done this for a set of 5 so should be easier really.

I have come to the conclusion my lower back (/posterior chain?) is weak as s**t. I think this is why my DL has always struggled and Sumo feels better, combined with the fact i squat very upright.

Is SLDL the best way to remedy this? 140 x 5 was pretty tough which is lame so...

Tried a wider stance, felt more stable but i couldn't bounce out of the hole as well. So ended about equally as strong. BUT this could be due to it being my first time trying.
