hope so the 280 was hitched so even if i dont break 280 il be happy with a nice clean 280 it looks in sight as the 260x3 today felt comfy just a slight leg wobble locking out the thrid

its crazy it wasnt more than 6 months ago I would never double or triple anything above a 220 and still pull singles upto 250-260 but i could never put them down in comp at the time so im starting on doubles and triples now to try build some consistency in my pull

I think you get to a point where you need to work the reps to increase your potential for a big pull.most guys just worry about there 1rm not the base to build the 1rm off

Couldn't agree more I'm seeing as going back to the beginning I used to rep a fair bit when I started and it got me where I am so can't see it doing any harm doing it all over again

Thanks robbo gonna give that 220x2 another go next bench sessions. I think the shirt moved out of place abit after the 1st rep and it put me in a wierd position

Was a good session last nite still can't get over how low your bodywieght is to how big your looking at the momment and your training looked solid

All kinds of gains!!! The speed on the board pressing was excellent milsy, i know the square root of f**k all when it comes to equipped lifting, but i reckon there is a big bench in there when you get comfortable with the shirt.

Is that shirt broken in? Those boards in the first two videos are far too high for anything other than working your lock out. Do more work to last board height and work on your line.

I think its broken in seems to sit better each session im struggling to get 200 down to one board so just use the bigger boards inbetween to get used to handling that sort of wieght i think my lockout needs building up more than anything so the bigger boards seem to be helping

good luck at the classic do you fly out tomorrow or you there now?

Looked to me that on the second rep with 220 you lost the line just before the board and it came towards your feet slightly.

I've always just worked on getting the weight down as far as I can until I touch, rather than to a board. I'm not a fan of using boards when in the shirt, one of the hardest parts is learning to keep tight and keep the line during that last inch to get a touch. I'd say work on being able to touch first, then add in the boards if needed. I know everyone has there own ideas on how to do it though, just my 2p!

good session tonight kept feeling sick which was abit annoying to say the least

squats
5x180
5x190
5x200
5x210
5x220

deadlift

3x180
3x220
2x260 went for 3 but didnt commit but happy with it as i pulled this for a triple fresh on sat so pulling a double after the squats cant be bad
