I will have a stab at 120x5 today perhaps. I think that is my best 5 but I am stronger now, but on the other hand not so much on the fronties. They have their own position strength.

Chaos, no half knee bends tho please!

Smalls, I'm certainly a convert. It just feels right. As in body working properly and all that.

I now have massive respect for people who do 200 plus on this. They must be physical specimens.

What no partial wide stance suited knee wrapped reverse banded ones? Unhappy

It is a different kind of squat entirely and actually needs a lot of strength in the whole body. The back squat is a much "easier" lift to load.

Front squats are pretty cool, i struggle holding the bar though cos I'm inflexible!!!

Another 6 days since I last trained and it showed. Really need to train more regularly.

95x3
105x3
110x6
115x5
85x8

Bench press
95x8
100x8

Whats your best five? Hit a reasonable 120x5 on Friday. Lets ramp it up.

Wasn't feeling it today. Mobility not great.

WILLSAN, just love 'em. Reading your journal and watching your front squats had a lot to do with my decision to take them on. Your 120x3x3 workouts were ace! How's the knee?

Smalls, I reckon I'll do that before Christmas. I've got 125x5 in me now.

in a word - s**t. it hasnt improved at all and I tripped and bent it the other day when I didnt have my brace on and it hurt like f**k. im pretty sure there is something torn down there. it just feels like a ball of pain under my kneecap now. stupid knee!

I feel your pain mate. Sounds like this is beyond the scope of GP/physio.

Get yourself seen by an orthopaedic surgeon and get it sorted. Is that the plan after your scan?

I have a follow up appointment after the scan on the 21st. other than that I havent really had much advice or info other than to keep it straight until then.
