Cheers Wayne. Feeling like I will break that again soon. Really enjoying deadlifting at the moment. Just a shame my squats are utter s**t, but none in comps yet so its ok Happy

18" side handles was nice for a change, but my grip is the limit on that. I am sure I could go a fair bit heavier on a deadlift frame, but my grip lets me down on the trap bar and I cant get straps to work on it, it just falls forward or back, and I cant adjust.

If your back is not liking deadlifts from the floor why not just do some higher stuff so when you get it sorted you know you wont fail deadlifts on lockout

Defecits were tough to get down to, still a bit stiff from Sunday and the bar was sitting on my feet at the bottom position. Hoping that being able to pull a decent amount from foot height will help with stones.

Will do mate also standing wider to will help.

My back wouldn't like any sort of dead lift at the moment!

I'll be back.

If I am gonna do it wider I will need to use slightly less defecit. Did this with a narrower than normal stance as it was the only way I could reach the bar without it becoming SLDL. Any wider and legs were in the way and arms were too wide to get near the bar.

Will play about with different heights though and see what works. I also hope it will help me off the floor and past my knees with my floor deadlift

Yeah, hope so. My max clean is well ahead of my press just now, so I may as well work on getting the tech more efficient while the press catches up
